Dry Planet worked with one of South Africa's biggest banks ,Nedbank who wanted to engage staff in its Water Balance program. Dry Planet worked with Nedbank to produce a branded version of Save a Flush, "Future Flush" which enabled Nedbank to brand the bag with their key sustainability messages. Nedbank distributed over 30,000 Future Flush to staff, a significant contribution to its objective of saving over 100 million litres of water a year as part of it’s ongoing commitment to water conservation in the country.

Kimberly-Clark Deal

Dry Planet worked with the Global consumer product business Kimberly Clark helping them to design and implement a large scale water saving program which involved a branded version of Dry Planet's Save a Flush. The program involved designing a new version of the Save a Flush, called Smart Flush, specifically modified for the US market. This was then distributed to consumers with Kimberly Clark’s Scott Natural Eco brand toilet tissue. One of the key drivers for Kimberly-Clark in doing the promotion was the impact that it would have on it's water footprint and the ability to offset it's water use.

"To put this in perspective, when we look at the water footprint of this product using one Smart Flush bag, for one year saves the equivalent amount of water (needed) to product 300 rolls of this Scott Naturals product" Spitzley said, "that includes all of the forestry, all the pulp mills, tissue mills….That to me is, Wow, we have taken this life cycle information & really used it to make a difference"
